The AMIFF's objective is to establish the seventh art in the Monferrato region, situated between the provinces of Asti and Alessandria. The region boasts a rich history, cultural heritage, and a reputation for excellence in food and wine production, as well as a thriving business and industrial landscape.

​

The Alessandria.Monferrato IFF was established with the objective of fostering the growth of emerging talents in the film industry, from all around the world but also from Italy and Piedmont. We seek to support individuals who are driven to make cinema their profession on a long-term basis, and who possess the courage to tell meaningful stories that reflect current events and resonate with broader social issues.

 

​The event will also provide an opportunity for emerging artists to network with and learn from leading figures from the Italian and international film industry.

 

​The event is scheduled to take place in Alessandria on May 23 and 24, 2025.

The event will also include:

• masterclasses with renowned professionals from the film industry.

• Meetings with distinguished Italian scientists and cultural figures.

• The event will feature screenings of short films, documentaries, and feature films by Italian and international directors.

• Casting director workshops will also be held.

• The ceremony will recognize and celebrate the achievements of individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the field.

• The evening will conclude with a gala dinner.

As AMIFF is an inclusive event, we are pleased to announce that associations and organizations that protect the rights of socially marginalized people, including the disabled, women victims of violence, people suffering from mental distress, and the LGBTQ+ community, will also be an integral part of the festival.
